The Sueño Package

Our Sueño Package includes great sounding audio, wireless mics, 6 dance floor lights, a Digital Monogram projection, Mirror Ball, Uplighting (12 or 24), and Cold Sparks (2 or 4).

DURATION

By default our Sueño Package covers up to 6 hours of event time. More hours can be added at any time for an additional fee per hour.

Our Sueño Package is specifically designed for Quinceañeras. Clients who want to add more WOW factor will book our Dancing on the Clouds enhancement and/or one of our dance floors!

What to Expect

Our lead DJ Marsha (Bilingual: Spanish/English) will skillfully guide everyone through the traditions and important moments of your Quinceañera. She'll make announcements in both spanish and english to ensure everyone knows what is happening throughout the night. Your Digital Monogram projection will add an extra layer of class and elegance while our Uplighting paints the walls with the color(s) of your choice. Cold Sparks will elevate key moments like your Entrance Waltz (El Vals), Baile de Sorpresa, and many high energy songs throughout the night. Once the dancing begins, our 6 dance floor lights will set the tone for a fun party atmosphere while our Mirror Ball will add a timeless look to the room for slow dances. Our Uplighting will then be synced with our dance floor lights once the dance floor is open to spread the celebration vibe across the entire room. Since we have full control of our lighting at all times we'll keep them in tune with the music being played. In other words, no flashing strobe lights and randomness during slow songs as a result of "sound activated lights".  

FAQs

Do you just DJ or do you MC (Event Host) too? Do you make announcements?

Yes to both! We believe that a significant, overlooked skill of a great DJ, is also being a great MC (Event Host). We are very comfortable on the mic and have over a decade of experience as MCs as well. Our style is making well-timed announcements with appropriate humor and energy without being overbearing or cheesy. 

Do you lead the Quinceañera? Will everyone know what's next?

Absolutely. Your Quinceañera is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Many of your guests may not fully know of or understand the many traditions that are often included in the event. DJ Marsha will lead the way through detailed announcements and explanatory narration while specific moments are happening. Example: During the traditional gift giving of the Last Doll, DJ Marsha will explain to everyone that the doll symbolizes the end of childhood and the beginning of womanhood for the quinceañera.

Can we choose the music we want played? Do you take requests?

Yes. We are extremely flexible when it comes to music selection for each event. Some of our clients have chosen all of the music to be played at their event, while others simply sit back and let us decide what music will be best. At minimum, we just need to know some idea of what genres of music you want us to provide at your event. We are also always open to requests from your guests. After all, the goal is to make your guests happy as well. However, you can also ask that we do not take requests from your guests. Whatever you want from us, we can do. But the most important thing to remember is that we have enough experience to be able to read crowds and have an excellent judgment of what your guests will dance to and want to hear.

Do you mix the music?

Yes!  Most DJs essentially do the same thing - play music and entertain a crowd - but it's how we do it that makes the difference. In addition to reading the crowd and appropriate song selection, the fundamental skill of a great DJ is being able to transition smoothly from one song or genre to another. We do this in a variety of ways including beat-matching, crossfading, lively vocal introductions, and utilizing a good slow song to move from one music style to another.

I spent a lot of time and money selecting my venue, photographer, etc. Do you coordinate with them?

Absolutely we do! At every event we are fortunate enough to be a part of, we work with the other professionals there to make sure everything goes smoothly. With photographers, for example, we know that our dance floor lighting can have a major impact on the quality of the pictures being taken. As a result we keep certain lighting effects off during moments when they don't compliment the photography. You did all of the hard work of assembling your team of professionals, the least we can do, is coordinate with them.

Venue condtions include but are not limited to: available power, height of ceilings, lighting of the venue (natural or otherwise), size of dance floor, the heating/cooling system of the venue, venue rules and policies, decor, etc.
